   Like so many young aspiring musical artists, at 17 Doug began following his musical path and dream of performing as  lead singer and guitarist in various bands before being granted a full music scholarship. But  sometimes our life journeys run into side roads and unexpected detours. With zero regrets and no apologies for love of country, Doug put his musical dream temporarily on the back burner to serve in the Middle East with the U.S.  Air Force.  After fulfilling his Air Force enlistment Doug was granted another music scholarship in Minnesota and returned to his chosen road, honing his guitar skills and developing his unique singing style while performing with well-known and popular Country & Rock bands throughout the Midwest, Dakotas and Canada.

   Then once again life threw a roadblock … this time by the Pandemic and shutdowns. Musicians everywhere were dealing with loss of income due to cancellations of live events and scheduled performances.  Not to be deterred, Doug came full circle back to his beginnings, writing music, performing solo and entertaining live to fans online.

   Now, like the perfect song ending, life and live music has returned full force. Doug now performs throughout Central Florida to the Coast during the winter and throughout North Dakota and the Midwest in the Summer months – Standing for and singing about love of country, family and the resiliency of life.  

Today, as a well-respected and sought after Musician, he aims to offer something different and unique to his fans by covering current music while creating and sharing his original works as well. For some, music is just a way to let out a little bit of energy, but for Doug it’s so much more than that– it’s a way of life.
